Regulation of the expression of rat genes for cytochrome P450 2B proteins

Research programs :

The regulation of the expression of the phenobarbital-inducible CYP2B2 gene is being studied in primary cultures of hepatocytes from adult rats. This system has permitted us to identify a phenobarbital response unit (PBRU) in the 5'-flanking region of the CYP2B2 gene.
